Well I hit up the beach in Oceanside at Cassidy Street at low tide in the morning. Nothing bit on the gulp sandworm. This morning I hit up South Ponto, wasnt there very long, had to get back home for work. There are tons of sandcrabs there, but they are tiny tiny. The cobblestones are pretty rough ...

The biggest fish I caught from the surf was from North Torrey Pines right in front of the parking lot.

oh trust me, lots of rocks up north too. From Carlsbad to Oceanside its like the whole beach is made of coblestones.

Hey just in case any new guys are looking for tips and how to get started, Check out this video and there are some other videos from them for spring and winter surf fishing, but they are all kinda the same. Some good info in there though.
