I grabbed a few packs for spotted bass in the bays.

And the Ozark trail version of a 5 inch fluke are $1.77 for a 9 pack. Limited colors.

That was my main curiosity, it’s a fast action rod but it’s an MBR so I wasn’t sure if it was more suited for bottom contact or for reaction bait stuff.


Its good enough as a bottom contact rod for me. Better than the champ xp anyway. I can probably survive with this one rod for all my style ...

Been curious about megabass stuff, but I'm always on the hunt for versatility. Maybe now I can start testing out technique specific rods. I doubt I'll try another nrx.
