Was there fishing closer to the front of the lake on Saturday. All jig & worm action for me with the biggest being just over 4.5 on a trick worm. Finished the day with 37 fish. Both of my thumbs are still sore two days later. Always the sign of a great morning!

Those dock fish can be fun when they’re chasing bait like that. I’m with you on the heat though, it can shut me down quicker than the bite does. Nice work clipping to the bushes too, that’s a smart move without spot lock.

Got out early with 619bassin and Dfishin also Vince who's not on the site. Small crowd today. Day started out pretty warm with a light ESE wind. Water temp was about 78F at the surface.

Ummm. I'm going tomorrow and I can keep a secret.

It has been a good year so tomorrow is experiment day. Crazy colors. Weird presentations. Trying out new skills - especially any secret weapons.

Its that time of year ...

Got to the gate 4:30 and met Dave,Vince and Steve, we went our separate ways. Beautiful warm morning, they were biting on top, plopper and frog and occasional popper. Majority of my fish also came on the swim jig and chatter bait.

Hit it on Saturday the 13th, prepping for our 2 day charter leaving Monday on the New Lo An. Started at Pigs worked all the way down to the rocks picking up bass the whole way down.
