Is this a normal Sunday thing?

I was wondering how you have been.
I haven't fished in a couple weeks (sucks). I'm changing my motorhome over to lithium batteries. I had to change all the battery gear, some wiring and put in a big inverter/ charger. Now my rig is totally off the grid.

Dang and I thought we could be friends?

Looks like fun guys. How deep is the water you are fishing?

I have fished Mission bay. I'm going have to try San Diego bay. I will bring 1 bigger rod to try for a bat ray or something that will tow me around.

I use to take my bass boat out in the bays and float tube about 20 years ago. I do want to get back out there. I'm working on picking up a different trolling motor for salt water. The trailer will die a faster death, but that's the way it goes.

Nicely done! You do what you do very well! My big end of the year party was missed xmas with the family with covid.

That is a very nice setup. Me I MacGyver all my add ons.

I have thrown the donkey rig and had good luck, but over grass and shallower water. Good luck!

Thanks for the report. There is bait all over in 30 to 40 feet and a lot bass in them. They should move up soon, nights are staying a little warmer.

All those options how long did you give each a try for? What I do, not saying have to, start shallow then work out deeper or vise versa. It will happen for you, just keep going.

I kind of did a similar thing out there 2 weeks ago, tried a lot without much action and tried different depths. I think I’ll be going to Cap tomorrow morning, and I’m going to try the opposite and really stick to a few techniques. Just stick to a neko, free rig, etc and hopefully find something ...
