Congrats Jwall! I have to say I use my 3 BFS's all the time now and only use my broom stick models on the big baits. Rat, plopper, spinner bait, chatter bait, frog.
The lighter stuff is easy to throw all day.

Congrats on a great day. I caught my first trout out of Murray on the then fishing dock 2 1/4 lbs in the 60's on a velveeta ball.

Got in line at 3:30. On the water in my tube before 5 and headed out. I had decided to main lake fish today and had planned out my spots. I caught only 1 at the launch, so I was kind of concerned. I catch 2 at a time or I catch the other next cast makes no difference. Makes no sense (survive)! I loose plenty of fish with my barbless hook or hooks.

My son works for helix and says they put it in and it's to get the water to turn over. They are going to do a lot more aeration at Jennings as they are going to be piping in treated water and want it to flow around the lake.
