Re: Hurricane Hilary: Category 4 storm barrels toward California

...or hopefully Murray will be back to where it was a few years ago.
On a serious note...the high winds are what I am worried about.
Hope everyone is prepared as best they can and hope everyone stays safe.

Re: BART hall show 2024

Just not the same as when I was a kid. Even the bass bin is like 1/3 of the volume it used to be. I go because it was something my stepdad took me to when I was young. I never expect to see anything i haven’t seen before nowadays

10/24 - SD River(What the heck!)

Thought about hitting Murray(lots of dinks chasing reaction baits)this morning for a few hours, but changed my mind. Since I have not
been to the SD river in a while, I loaded my flippin' stick and another rod(both rigged with straight braid) and headed there. I was
shocked at how high the water ...

Re: El cap buzz bait !

Ive had a couple epic days on the buzz bait there. It’s always kind of been an all or nothing kind of deal for me though.

Re: San Diego river fishing

I love the river. I don't love some of the people you run into down there though.

Re: San Diego river fishing

Nice job down there. I have caught a lot of nice fish over the years down at the SD River. I agree with you if you run into some of the homeless river residents, I just try to be nice and kid around and I’ve never had any problems, but it can be kind of edgy sometimes. Thanks for sharing and I ...

Re: San Diego river

I'm glad to see that it looks like that spot has bounced back. It used to be one of my favorite places to fish, but there was a big die-off several years back. I have caught some good ones in there.

Your videos make me want to ditch my boat and fish the river again!

Re: San Diego river

I really don’t want to be that guy but I’m gonna say it. I can’t get past the fact that there are Hundreds of Homeless people living the length of that watershed with no access to restrooms. It sits in my head that the water is Poop stew. No doubt there is some good fishing in there. There is good ...

Murray and Hodges

16 bass between Hodges on Wed. and Murray on Fri. all on this new little crankbait I just got that's about the size of my thumb. It's an Evergreen PC-5 in Baby Bluegill color. Dives quickly to 10 feet and runs perfectly true out of the box. It's a bit pricey at $15, but I can't argue with the ...

Going to those pristine, unpressured lakes is just plain cheating! Says a very jealous, frustrated Socal fisher.
