Re: Massachusetts Fishing
Those stripers are quite the table fare species. I grew up in the Chesapeake Bay region of MD where they were widely known as "rockfish." Glad to see they're plentiful, (which hasn't always been the case). Thanks for the report!

Re: If you could only eat......
Vinny -- tough question! It's like asking, "who's your favorite child?" (haha). Currently, (and always subject to change) it's probably Asian cuisine for me. Vinny, I'm guessing Mexican might be one of your fav's... While dining at Mario's awhile back you and a lady friend grabbed the booth behind ...

Re: Cool Bands you've seen "Live"
Seen lotsa the big names in the arenas, but much prefer smaller venues. Remember Anthology in Little Italy? Awesome joint -- years ago took my aspiring sax playing son to see Count Basie's band, (speechless walking out of the place). Later my bro's and I enjoyed John Mayall and his latest line up ...

Yes, Pink Floyd '72 at that venue -- must have been stoked, but "Jimi at a small club in Schenectady, NY..." Prop's to ya on that one!

Re: Cool Bands you've seen "Live"
Vinny, I dunno man… Just might have to add another one. My wife surprised me yesterday with two tickets for date night at the Rady Shell, (I hadn’t been before). Local trumpeter extraordinaire, Gilbert Castellanos and his handpicked all-star jazz sextet performed (for their second set) Miles Davis ...

Went to go see dead and co on my birthday at the sphere in Vegas, cool is an understatement! When they opened the Stargate and transported us to giza my mind was truly blown!4163184927394346029.jpg

Re: Red House-SD Sports Arena 1969
Thanks for sharing this Vinny. Takes me waaay back… (I’ve heard this version of Red House before, but didn’t know it was in SD). Long-time blues fan here. Hendrix’s (studio) version is what got me hooked.
