Re: Curado 200E7 frame

Ever since the tsunami, shimano parts are very very hard to get. From what I was told, it wiped out most of the manufacturing. I waited almost a year for a new spool. eBay is your best bet for something used. You may be better off parting the reel out and see if they can hook you up on a new reel

Re: Curado 200E7 frame

The parts for Shimano E series considered as obsolete both here and overseas . It is gonna be hard to find one. You’d better off buying a whole used reel for parts from flea market or eBay. The problem is high dollar price since this series is one of the most popular series from Shimano, a bit ...

2. Take pictures with your phone of anything complex. Or even of the starting condition if not sure.
3. Pay close attention to items that can go back ...

I prefer just taking some bananas on board. Helps with the fish counts and cramps.

Re: Boat expenses or cost splits

$61.

Cost of the boat less 1 passenger is 123-30=93 or $31 per person. Add $30 to that and it is $61.

Your error was ignoring that the basic fee includes one passenger.

You are on you own for figuring out transportation costs, not just gas but wear and tear on the vehicle. IRS allowable rate is ...

Re: Did you GUT hook a bass?

19 minutes is too long to watch. I just bring my needlenose thru the gills and then the hook readily comes out, especially if barbless like it is supposed to be.

Barrett report June 21

Here's the details on June 21 at Barrett. It was really a low wind day, most water surfaces were glassy smooth until 1130 or so. Slight wind at about 1030 or so in the wide open areas. For me the bite was in groups again. I got a total of 12. They were on the underspin, crankbait, few poppers and ...

3 clumsy guys fished from 5:30 to 4pm for approx 60+ fish. Most just under 2lbs. 16 over 2lbs with top fish at 3.5lbs. We got a few on the top but mostly later in the day. Bite seemed to get better for us later and quality definitely got better. Senko wacky and Texas rig was our main attack. Caught ...

Barrett Report May 26

Got out nice and early on the water today. It wasn't too chilly then, but it changed. Pedaled over to the cove by the island at the opening of Hauser and got hits right away. It must have been dark for them too, the one I caught hit the popper at least 5 times before he got it. He was only about a ...
