Rented a boat at San V today and a fellow SDFisher joined me for the morning. Some froggy looking water but no bites on either the frog or the buzzbait. Water is pea green soup from the grass scum - not just the surface, it’s throughout the water column in places.

Not San Diego…but taking care of my 93 year old mom for 11 days so my sister gets a break. Mom’s Del Webb community outside Houston has small lakes that were stocked in the early days and I can usually sneak down to wet a line at sunset. Fishing in suburbia ain’t all bad!!

Spent the morning in Mission Bay. It was the best morning in recent memory. I lost count after 15 spotties. A couple over legal size but mostly small. Still a ton of fun.
