On the sand at 6 am armed with blood worms & ghost shrimp. Was hoping the change in location and menu would get some better action than just hand size perch. Didn't disappoint. Fished North County yesterday. Fished from 5:15pm until 8 pm . Still a good amount of people in the water. Caught 4 perch and 1 corbina (9”) all on crab. All were caught in the 1st hour of fishing. Current was strong to the north. Bite slowed, switched to LC, nothing caught. Waves seemed pretty big ...

Going surf fishing this afternoon. Not much strategy, but mostly sand crabs and shrimp, either in the troughs or shrimp flung out on the reefs.

Went out this morning. Fished from 6:30 to 7:15. Caught 2 perch on crabs. Tried to throw an LC, seaweed almost every cast.
After 45 minutes, just got a cup of coffee and relaxed on the beach.

Decent size YFC. I love to do sunset sessions but last I did about a month ago was a bust due to heavy salad conditions. Almost impossible now at the SD beaches I fish because of the lack of parking after 4 pm. Can always find in the early mornings but not after 4 pm in the summertime.

Nice croaker… I never fish evenings…. Like PK said, too crowded fighting traffic and lousy parking… It worked for you though..
