Haven’t been on SDfish too much lately but I decided to post this catch. I was planning on taking out the kayak but didn’t want to go through the hassle of loading it up so instead, I went on the bank. Has anyone else been catching at Miramar since it’s opened? I’ve caught these two on a Roboworm and some curly tailed worm. Anything else work for you guys? I’m fairly new to freshwater.

Years ago the city ran the concessions and boat rentals, but that is not true anymore.
Anyway.....Just trying to be helpful. Here ya go.

Good luck on your excursion! There used (I'm sure they're still there) to be cameras up there that are monitored, as it was the case a few years ago. If you plan to ninja fish it, bring cheap gear and be prepared to leave without it if you get caught and a nice trespassing ticket.

No, I fished it from a tube yesterday and the water is way too low. They were renting boats however I believe.

3 from last evening at twilight in a little less than 2-hours.
At 72-years old, currently limited to pier fishing.
If anyone ever has a boat back seat opening, please inform.

Had a 16 fish day today at Otay. Walking baits, poppers, jerk and crankbaits all produced. Even picked up a few worm fish after it got hot. All in all a beautiful Saturday morning.

Haven’t gone fishing in 12 days which is probably a semi world record for me ha ha …but I’m feeling a lot better thanks. Unfortunately then been limping around but hopefully getting to the tail end of plantar fasciitis on my left foot. I can’t wait to get back on ...

Was out and set up by 6:00 am. I figured I'd hit the Straits since i haven't fished that portion of the lake in awhile. The lake has dropped another couple of feet I reckon by the looks of things. The last time I fished was 14 days ago, which to me is a lifetime! Been pretty sick and took a while to recover(some weird stomach virus) and even lost 8 pounds.
