I have endured Mr. Vinnybass harassing me for years, questioning my quanity over quality attitude..so today I put away my finesse baits and brought out the bigger stuff! The good news..I averaged bigger fish (I think). The bad news...my quanity was way down! The worse news...Vinny caught more than ...

Line size, hook size and bait is a slippery slope =D I definitely think you get more bites on lighter line and smaller hooks. When tuna fishing you sometime need to go down to a size 4 bait hook on a 5 or 6 in sardine to get bit. Then you risk pulling the hook after you bit.
