Launched the tube at 6:30, it was very slow until sunset, then it was wide open until 8:30.A small ned rig Zman trd tossed in the eel ...

Sunrise hali
Started throwing at grey light. Literally in the middle of nowhere. Threw a bass jig a couple times to check depth, 12-15'. Nice depth for the chatterbait, so I changed rods. 1st cast on the chatter. Boom! Gaffed her, stepped on her, stabbed her in the brain, threw in the ice box to die. 20 minutes ...

Coronado 10/12
The Mrs. and I took out the new raft for the first time on Saturday. Steady action all morning on crankbaits and blade baits. We ended up with 30 fish which is pretty darn good for us. I’m going to be adding nav lights soon. I have a couple buddies at work that love to shore pound the bay at night ...

Rocky Shorelines - Calico Bass May 22
Walked down to a favorite beach spot to fish a weighted weedless swimbait (shown) along the sand/rock shoreline here, with much smaller surf today.
The recent south swells have migrated tons of sand north on my beach, and have unburied the local acres of eel grass - which is all dead and drifting ...

Lower Owens Winter Fly Fishing Trip
Euro nymphed the Lower Owens River last weekend which was super fun and rewarding. I went with the local Golden State Fly Casters club here in town and caught nearly 20 trout each day! I have a 10 ft 3 weight shadow X euro rod which helps me tight line nymph and feel every bite. I only used typical ...

Re: A Call to Arms Barrett Junkies
I got my moment of fame last night before the City Council, actually it was pretty cool. There must have been a lot of participation because they divide the time they allocate by the number of people either calling in, zooming, or appearing live. The result was 1 minute per comment, I got cut off ...

Re: A Call to Arms Barrett Junkies
The increases, according to the Staff Report, 1/25/2025, Public Utilities FY 2026 User Fees, are for what they call 0 cost recovery.
