After 2 weeks of catching mostly dinks and one pounders, I finally got onto a bite today with better quality fish. 9 total fish all two plus pounds with the best going three and a half.

All in all a pretty fun morning.

Best day of the year so far at Murray. Caught a dozen fish, and all but two of them were over 2 pounds. Plus three nice ones, a 3.2 pounder, a 3.7 pounder and a 4.3 pounder.

It isn't the most fish I've caught at Murray this year but definitely the most quality. All on BFS gear.

It seems that the bass that are jumping at Murray are mainly focusing on eating shad 99.9% of the time and not many artificial offerings.
