Thats a very busy weekend to fish. The sup works great flipping the tullies and getting in realy tight to them.

Re: Oxbow Fishing the Colorado River and Lake Mohave

I know which spot you were referring to when you said it had a launch ramp. I went out there a few years back once and was surprised how many people fish that section. I wish I had brought my float tube but I figured the current would be a little strong for me to stay in one area but it looks like ...

San V 1-22 my bilge pump works!

Headed out onto a very rainy lake this morning with two other boaters who were crazy enough to head out into the rain. I should probably be living in the Pacific Northwest because I LOVE the rain and especially fishing in it! My bilge pump kicked on about every 15min or so pumping out a few gallons ...

Tiny jig has been killing it at Murray.

I've been absolutely killing it at Murray. Fishing my BFS setup with a 1/16 oz Keitech Mono Spin jig paired with a Z-Man 2.5 inch TRD Crawz. Both in green pumpkin. I must have caught 20 keeper sized bass in my last 2 trips.

Nice job! You’re doing better than anyone I’ve talked to there in the last few weeks. Skunks and one fish or two fish is the best I’ve heard. Guessing small baits is the key to success. Thanks for sharing and tight lines. :-)

Honestly, I think that's it. That's all that has been working for me ...

Re: Tiny jig has been killing it at Murray.

The small stuff works but if you want the Big Girls, throw them some meat. The Females will suck down Crawdads to get calcium for their eggs, mostly though, they will eat any meal that is easy to catch. A minimum of effort. They are slowed down by the cool water. If you were to dive down(I have) and ...

Re: Tiny jig has been killing it at Murray.

Big fish hunting is a totally different mind set. You have to be willing to go out and not get bites, or maybe only one or two bites in a day. For me, I just have fun catching fish, big or small. I just enjoy figuring out the bite and setting the hook into a fish.

It takes a certain type of ...

San V 2/5 Looking for Noah
