Re: The Fish Were Stacked!
You love fishing jigs because you are amazing at it. Or, probably more correct you worked hard to learn them and become amazing at them. I think your feel of the structure might be better than panoptix.

Barrett Report September 25th
Well, that's it for me for this year.
Got to the lake in the dark. Met Chuck and we had a nice time. Water temp was at 70F and by the end of my day it went to 73F. Light wind from the North early.
We were determined to catch fish on topwater and I'm happy to say it worked out. Chuck was getting ...

Re: The Fish Were Stacked!
Great video.
I've watched several of them and just realized that you're a lefty, but you use a "righty" reel.
I'm kinda the opposite...I cast with my right hand, and crank with my left.
Oh...and one more difference....you catch a buttload of fish!
have fun
CK

Re: Last report of 2024
Thanks for the update and beautiful pics! Yeah, it was dead calm out there after that first early morning breeze. What a gorgeous day on a beautiful lake. Cheers! Can't wait for next year already.

Re: Bass and Crappie Dialed In!
Terrific video my man. I loved seeing you catch the crappie on the old school lure. Is that jig rod new? What kind is it a Kisler? What length?

Re: Bass and Crappie Dialed In!
That’s a great point you’re fishing in the beginning. You wouldn’t even know it was there without a graph or low water

Re: Bass and Crappie Dialed In!
Great video Chris and it's always fun fishing with you. I do love the topwater, but if you keep teaching me, I can clearly see some advantages to the jigs. Although, what you have learned is so subtle, I think it does take some time, practice and patience. With my popper it's seldom a soft tap from ...

2024 Barrett in Review
Another year in the books.....indeed a fun one for me. I fished 12 times this season. Overall pretty good, it seemed that the average size/weight was a little smaller(for me). Still a ton of fun! This place is truly magical. I called Bryan Norris( 619.668.2014 [email protected]) to express my ...

Nice podcast! Your tank is mesmerizing in the background. Were there some baby bass in there or do they grow too much?
