Quick late afternoon session from in the tube was very surprised by the amount of people remaining till closing. The water was hovering 69 degrees through out all levels. The water went from 5' to 15' in the center of the pond. The water was a coffee/chocolate in color and about 1' to 2' in clarity ...

Early morning boils on the main lake then get really hot around 11:00

It is open launched yesterday morning......And the concession stand is now officially back open as of Friday

According to the city website El Cap is only at 21.5% percent full. The only other lake that levels are lower is Hodges at 16.9%. Lowest level for operable ramp at El Cap is 110.00' and the current depth is 113.10'.

Earlier in the week I stopped by Miramar to bang out some shore Bassing for a bit. With the water levels being so high I failed to realize the fishing docks were closed to all foot traffic! Wished I would have seen that before driving around the perimeter. Not to mention all the walkers and runners ...
