Re: Go to bait

It's too bad the senko's and ika's are made with a lesser quality plastic yet you still have to pay more. One little dink bass seems to destroy a senko when before you could normally catch 3-4 on the one plastic.

Sure doesn’t take very long for homeless shelters , bike lanes in hillcrest. Soup kitchens.
Wake up people, this is where the water is stored for the community.

Re: Shocking day at the D. K.

I believe theres some of us that truly enjoy showing up to a lake that hasn't been blown up on the internet. No live scope to find the fish for us. And fish and enjoy nature. Maybe you'll see a eagle .
If your at these lakes , and see theres
Lots of boats in the parking lot, and not many sdfish ...

Re: Keep our Lakes Open

Good news for the lakes. The city has found funds for the lakes, Joel Anderson’s office sent out emails today.
There were 750 people from the 4 million in the county that contacted Joel Anderson’s office about the lakes closure.
We can do better. 750 is not enough .

Re: Best way to catch bass

Hello everyone, I'm a rookie at fishing, I've been wondering what the best ways for catching a largemouth bass may be. I've caught one at Lake Martinez in Arizona on a pier using a simple hook and a worm, but it feels like that doesn't work for the ones out here. Been mainly using live bait and ...

Re: Lake Poway?

I don’t think it’s that easy, there would be a long line if it were.
If snagging 18lbers were easy wouldn’t there be a crowd.
Come on, why turn on your partner. Then close your forum and hide.
It’s gives people something to talk about, because there not catching big fish.
I haven’t seen a 15lber ...

Jig strike sinks

The sport boat jig strike sinks at the Cortez bank 100 miles offshore, there were 17 passengers aboard, everyone is safe. There was another sportboat in the area, and responded to there distress call.
Thank God everyone was rescued.

There not there quite yet, fished there yesterday , beautiful weather.

Re: Wake up people! Your voting has consequences !

Some of the problem lies here, county residents can not vote in city elections.
Tho the lakes are in the county , sounds like the fox is in charge of the hen house to me.

Re: Yuma panfishing

Senkosam,
On the canals in Yuma, there is current.
Trolling is impossible, if you’ve fished the canals. “No boats”
Those ultra lite jigs are not fishable in heavy current you’ll never get them to decent deep enough.
Drop shotting or heavy split shot is about the only way I’ve had any success ...
