One of Loveland’s rules is no fish reports

I rarely guerrilla fish anymore (1. Trespass fish or 2. Fish in remote places where machetes are needed) but I am interested in reading about a Loveland comeback after the s*** the water authorities pulled by draining it. Thanks for the forbidden report!

Just a few pics from a couple recent trips to Murray pretty much sum it up.
There are bass up near the top of the water and bass down near the bottom.
Most are clones, but hope you find your action on top or on the bottom! :-)

Nice. Great numbers for your first time there. Even if they are small, no complaints. No bullheads on the plastics? Usually you get a few bycatches on the cats up there. The big ones are there. The bigger baits entice the bigger bites. Especially with stained water

Had some great unintentional crappie days up there too. But when the water was up considerably.

Thanks for the report, I have been wondering if that lake is any good lately and what the water levels were like. Must have been pretty toasty up there this weekend but at least the fish didn't care and you were able to keep catching. If they still stock that lake with trout there has to be some big ...

For me Lake Morena has always been a under 2 pound or over 5 pound lake, dating back to the late 80s. Not a lot of in between. I wish it had more water in it. Such beautiful shoreline at that lake.

How about Sinko, since they have so much salt in them and sink like a rock. =D

After 2 weeks of catching mostly dinks and one pounders, I finally got onto a bite today with better quality fish. 9 total fish all two plus pounds with the best going three and a half.

All in all a pretty fun morning.

Back in the day, they didn’t care when you got on the water, we used to launch our tubes at 4am on the remote side by goat island. It could be almost every cast on an old hula popper in the dark.
