So hooked this girl on the far side of the small opening and the fight was on...she even jumped a couple times and then...she got tangled in a patch of tulles and was completely stuck. What to do? Tried all ...

Missed three weeks of top water fun as I was working in Italy. Got some at Otay last week and today at Miramar had some more topwater action. Absolutely a gorgeous day with only one other boat on the water.

Finally got into some nicer fish at Murray. Final count was 5. All fish were over two pounds with one going 3.5 and another was 4.5. It really was a beautiful early December day.

Nice to have a day that wasn't a total dinkfest :D

For those of you interested the DFG stocked Murray yesterday with trout. I have no idea how many pounds, but it wasn't a tremendous amount, and they were small. Most appeared around 10 inches. It was a beautiful day at the Murr today. I got on the water at 8:00 and was off by 1:00. It was mostly cloudy, but not really cold, and no wind to speak of all day. The water was a bit cloudy after the rains, but not as bad as I expected it to be.
