Here is a quick update on Loveland. With Fox 5 San Diego Videos. Miriam At East County Magazine has reported several times too. Reader has reported again.

I got super lucky this afternoon at San V. After catching a bunch of bass on dropshots, I decided to target a few panfish laate in the day based on my meter readings and WHAMO, blessed with a tanker panfish, a 4.2 lb. redear.

She was caught on 2 lb line and a piece of nightcrawler, 18 feet deep on ...

My second trip to San V this year, and found the bluegill and redear biting pretty good in the late afternoon. Even some lowly bass.

Dropshotting half a crawler gets it done. All fish were released.

Really solid Halibut fishing in the bay the last couple of weeks from skiffs, kayak, and shore. Using sardines, smelt, and double rig with underspin and white gulp swimbaits.

Bonefish still in Mission Bay. Caught 2. A lot of hits but could not get the hook set. These are fun fighting fish. Pulling drag.

I fished the low tide. 6:00am to 9:00am. Caught 13 fish. Biggest was 14 inches.

Lots of at Torrey pines too. Vellela Vellela is what they are called. Related to man o war. I don’t think sting is as bad. I avoided them anyway.

Went by Hogan's Tackle for some fresh lugeworms. Went over to the jetty for a quick 90 min trip. Ended up getting 1 sand bass
and 3 spotfins, 2 of the spotfins were a really nice size, I didn't get a pick of them. Had to climb down the rocks to release and didn't have phone on me then.

There are calicos at Swami's. I went in May. Casted into a deep pocket and landed 2 calicos and 1 black perch in about 1.5 hours. I'm a bait guy and used shrimp.

Many surfers at the southern end of the reef. Fewer of them in the north.

No experience at stone steps.

That's going to be tough falling tide conditions with the very low water late afternoon. If possible to move up your time on the beach to say 12 noon to 3 pm, I think you would have better chances. Tide will be around 3' at noon going down to near 0 by 3 pm. The incoming tide late afternoon into ...
