Was a lot of fun out there yesterday! The late start time was a bit of a bummer, one of my favorite things about Barrett is getting to fish in the dark for awhile before sunup. The Yeti and T-shirt was a cool touch.

They visited me yesterday, just looked at the hook on the rod I had in my hand and asked to see my license, then moved on. Super nice guys. Saw them again at Cap this afternoon.

Worm was the deal for me. Didn’t spend a lot of time throwing anything else cause I was getting bit. Not as many as at the last charity prefish a couple weekends ago but still a very good morning. Only thing missing was quality, most of my fish were 12-14”. Biggest probably 2.5. Wilson and Hauser.

After a fun day at Barrett Saturday I slept in and ran some errands Sunday morning. By lunchtime the itch to fish had set in, so I decided to head out to El Cap with just one rod and a few packs of worms in tow to see if I could find a few fish to get my fix. Arrived at the lake around 3:30PM

Video I shot Saturday out at Barrett. Camera died around 10AM so I only got the first few hours of the day.

Fun day at Murray. Final count was 7, albeit mostly clones. I thought I'd share my go-to bait. It's been killing them at Murray, but at El Cap and Otay too.
